Bitxia Berria

Bitxia Berria is the jewel that institutionally represented Bizkaiko Txakolina in 2020.

Bitxia Berria is a white txakoli made using Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Zuri Zerratia grapes from vineyards located between 200 and 235 metres high. Bright and lemon hued in colour, it is a fresh and aromatic wine with notes of aniseed, ripened fruit, hay and tropical fruit on the nose.  Slightly sweet entry on the palate, good body in the mouth and with an acid, but balanced finish.

It is excellent served with appetisers, vegetable, pasta, rice dishes, shellfish, fish, white meat and fresh cheeses. Best drunk at a temperature of between 8 and 10 ºC.
